- 4 / 5By Joseph CampeseHardy's Kitchen and Catering is a little hard to find. It's in the back of a big white house, on the lower level, on the wet side of185th street. (address above, you'll see a sign, in the back). Finding it is worth the while. I had the cheese burger with grilled onions and pickle with fries. The bun is superb. As in any sandwich the bread and can make or break it. The bun is *hardy* toasted to perfection. The hamburger itself was a generous portion of beef cooked thru but still very juicy. The grilled onion was fresh and plentiful. The fries appeared to be hand cut and again were fresh, hot and cooked just right. Hardy's is unpretentious but Mr. Hardy has years in the food and beverage business and it seems to me is worthy of your restaurant dollar.October 07, 2016
